    We need to remove space debris from Earth's orbit. Because debris from satellites or a small screw can seriously damage a spacesuit or spaceship. People need to build a huge recycling plant in Earth orbit that runs on solar energy to process space junk and old satellites in order to extract new resources from them and to build all sorts of new devices from them

    Why was President Carter considered such a failure? Among other things, he was SO enamoured with the images returned from space; “we can read a licence plate from space” that he pulled almost all deep cover agents because he was afraid of compromises on the scale of the Tehran Embassy debacle. He did NOT want another embarrassing event that put lives at risk. Only, seeing things doesn’t tell you what it’s thinking! It’s only been in the past 10-15 years that we have put even a fraction of those assets back in place. Also, a frustrating situation arose post 9-11; why? Most satellite images were classified Top Secret because we didn’t want people to know just how AWESOME our capabilities were. So what? Well, when you are trying to plan a mission and only the Captain in a u it has the required clearance to even look at the photos, it makes planning REALLY REALLY DIFFICULT! So, we had to do a lot of “on the spot” reclassifying of images or upgrading people’s security clearances. Let’s just say that Google earth is kind of blurry compared to what was available in 2001….. think about that. Now you see why folks were out of joint when a former president released a satellite photo of the failed Iranian rocket launch. And that was only the image he compromised to demonstrate the capabilities and capacity of our satellites.

    If extraterrestrial life exists, they would be shaking their heads at the exorbitant cost in resources our planet expends in exploring rocks flying around our solar system.

    I think one of the most plausible answers to this dilemma could simply be due to the lifespan of any civilization being way shorter than that of the cosmos, in a way that it becomes very unlikely that another advanced civilization could exist at the very same time as ours, and also being so much close to us that we are able to spot them using our technology... Other advanced civilizations could have thrived and ended well before our appearing, others could yet have to being born, while others could exist right now, but simply being too far away from us

    I think space-time itself is probably the great filter. I mean, the universe is only 14 billion years old, although I did see something about it possibly being twice that old but then I never saw it again so I don't know if I just imagined that or what lol. Anyway, not only are we moving away from each other in space and time but it's actually speeding up and the likelihood of the timelines for the species matching up and then the time it would take to reach each other, it doesn't seem very likely. Like I'm almost certain that we aren't alone completely but I also don't know if we really understand the scale of the universe at all, we are learning new things everyday. Things we used to take for granted are always coming into doubt. I don't think I would ever believe in the zoo hypothesis, I just don't believe that is a very realistic scenario lol. I also choose not to believe the dark Forest hypothesis just because that is terrifying. So maybe this is all just me rationalizing to minimize my own anxiety lol.

    What if the objective is for their entertainment, akin to The Truman Show? I have frequently contemplated whether they deliberately choose individuals for experiments based on their believability. As per their assertions, they frequently target individuals in the countryside with substance abuse issues. What if they only target rural areas because of the lower population density? It would facilitate their entry and exit when there are fewer people living in close proximity.

    Didn't this Asteroid pull a gravitational sling shot around our Sun? Pretty amazing this thing completely misses everything in our solar system, pulls a gravitational sling shot maneuver, and has "unexplained acceleration" as it is leaving our solar system ......... 🤔

    • @enadegheeghaghe6369
      @enadegheeghaghe6369 2 часа назад

      There is nothing amazing about that at all. More than 99% of out solar system is empty space. It would have been amazing if it didn't miss everything. I don't think you have any idea how big our solar system is or how far apart the planets and asteroids are. Also doing a slingshot around the sun is no big deal either. All comets do that. You don't need any kind of engine or do that. All that is necessary is to be moving fast and close enough to the sun to feel the impact of the Sun's gravity
